Challenging to grow and make wine from, Viognier rewards with full-bodied wines with a lush, rich character. The fruit is grown in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, a region known for its dense morning fog and cool afternoon breezes. This unique microclimate allows Viognier to ripen slowly, resulting in the gradual development of complexity in the fruit without the overdevelopment of sugar in the berries.
